Veggie of the Month: Peppers
All colors of the bell pepper will provide you with a high concentration of vitamin A, but the red bell pepper will give you the highest of them all.
The scientific name of peppers is Capsicum anuum. Capsicum name comes from Greek word “kapto” which means “to bite”
Peppers are native to Central and South America.
Kids ages 12 and under are invited to become a Co+op Explorer!
To become a card-carrying Co+op Explorer, kids simply need to bring a parent or supervising adult to the customer service desk and ask to become a Co+op Explorer. Or, use our super easy online form. Each child will be issued their own super official Co+op Explorers card and passport!
