The Lawrence Chapter of the NAACP offers a scholarship each year to one African American graduating senior student at each of Lawrence’s public high schools, Lawrence High School and Free State High School. These scholarships can be used by students planning to attend any accredited vocational, technical, college, or university institution. None of this is possible without direct support from businesses and members of the Lawrence community. Finding scholarships is a daunting task for most high school seniors. To make the process easier, we provide each applicant with a list of other possible scholarship opportunities to help them find success after graduation.
